  Contents
  This package contains six vials of assayed solution (2 high, 2 normal, and 2 low level) for use as controls for osmolality determination by vapor pressure osmometer.
  
  Storage
  Keep refrigerated   Do not freeze.  Under refrigeration, the solution will remain stable until the labeled expiration date.  The opened product has a maximum stable life of five days, if kept refrigerated and tightly capped.  
  
  Assay Protocol
  For osmolality, each lot is assayed in replicate.  Data is obtained from a Wescor vapor pressure osmometer calibrated with Wescor osmolality standards.  For colloid osmotic pressure, each lot is assayed in replicate.  Data is obtained from a Wescor colloid osmometer that is physically pre-calibrated to a certified manometer.  The osmometer is fitted with a 30,000 molecular weight cutoff membrane (Wescor cat. no. SS-030).  
  
  Warranty
  Wescor warrants this product to perform as described in its labeling and in Wescor's literature, and disclaims any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for any other purpose.  The warranty is limited to Osmocoll product replacement only.
