Position: Molecular Distributor Sales Manager
Location: Midwest or West Coast
Job description:
The Molecular Distributor Manager is responsible for communicating and executing within a defined territory the marketing and sales plans for the Elitech molecular diagnostics business. It is expected that you will work with and through the Elitech distributor partners to realize annual sales objectives. You will also be expected to participate in the yearly sales and marketing plan development process.
Experience:
- This position requires a minimum of 2 -3 years of direct selling to molecular diagnostic doctors and hospitals.
REQUIREMENTS
- BS/MS degree in Biology (Molecular and Microbiology, genetics, or biochemistry with a strong knowledge in infectious diseases is preferred), Completion of an advanced degree in business (MBA) or
A related science (Masters or PhD) is strongly desired.

3+ years experience in the marketing of Molecular and Microbiology products. Sales experience is a plus.

Track record of success in use of marketing skills and market knowledge to prepare Molecular and Microbiology marketing plan for commercialization.

Must have technical knowledge of Molecular and Microbiology reagents with an understanding of PCR/ASR/Molecular and Microbiology Diagnostics.
- Experience developing outbound marketing programs to drive demand for new and existing products as well as encourage repeat purchasing.
- Demonstrate ability to develop marketing plans that align with strategic objectives.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills and comfortable presenting to senior individuals both internally and externally.
- Must have flexibility in working hours and available for 25% business travel to customer and non-customer sites.
- It is preferred that you have worked with distributor net works during your sales career.
